I got my septum pierced around a month ago and when I had it done, Ross told me I was one of the lucky ones to have a a soft fleshy bit...meaning mine would probably heal faster!

I spritz Saline solution into my nose like a druggie three times a day religiously for two weeks.
After that, I've neglected it but it seems to be okay since it doesn't hurt in particular(unless my brother decides to throw an uppercut up my nose).

I suppose that's okay yeh? 8D

Exercising caution and good judgment with your new piercing will
help you avoid infection. Let your piercing breathe and clean
it properly. And of course, make sure you are pierced in a clean
and sterile environment in order to avoid problems from the get-go.
